Whole-House Repiping in Middle Tennessee
Pipe doesn’t last forever. Water lines corrode and narrow, old cast iron drains rust and crack, and eventually you’re calling a plumber for a new leak every few months. At that point, replacing the piping is often the better long-term fix.
Simply Plumbing does full and partial repipes for homeowners in Murfreesboro and across Middle Tennessee. We plan and do the work ourselves, from the walkthrough to the final test.
Signs It May Be Time to Repipe
A repipe is worth talking about when you’re seeing:
- Repeated leaks in different parts of the house
- Rusty, brown, or discolored water
- Low water pressure throughout the house, not just one fixture
- Old galvanized steel water lines
- Deteriorating cast iron drain lines
- Pinhole leaks in older copper
- Pipe material known for failing, such as polybutylene
Why Old Pipe Fails
Galvanized steel water lines corrode from the inside. Rust and scale build up year after year until the opening inside the pipe is a fraction of what it was, which is why older homes with galvanized lines often have weak pressure everywhere. Eventually the pipe rusts through and starts to leak.
Cast iron drain lines have a similar story. They rust and scale on the inside, the walls thin out, and cracks and holes start to show up, often where you can’t see them, under the house or inside a wall. By the time one section fails, the rest of the line is usually not far behind. We’ve replaced plenty of old, deteriorating cast iron and can tell you how far along yours is.
Full or Partial Repipes
Not every house needs everything replaced. Sometimes one section of old pipe is causing all the trouble, and replacing just that run solves it. Other times the whole system is at the end of its life and a full repipe is the only fix that lasts.
We’ll look at what you have and tell you honestly which situation you’re in. If a few targeted plumbing repairs will hold you for years, we’ll say so. You’re dealing with a plumber, not a salesman, and we won’t push a bigger job than you need.

Test and walkthrough
Everything is tested for leaks and pressure, and we walk you through what was done.

Taking Care of Your Home During the Job
A repipe means work inside your living space, so how the plumber treats your home matters even more. Simply Plumbing is known for showing up well groomed and professional, keeping dirt out of the house, and parking on the street. We’ll talk with you before work starts about which rooms we need access to and when the water will be off.
A repipe is also a good time to look at the rest of your system. If your water heater is near the end of its life, or you’ve been thinking about whole-house water filtration, it can make sense to plan it together.
Backed by a 1-Year Warranty
Every repipe comes with a 1-year warranty on the work. No gimmicks, just a local plumber standing behind the work. Simply Plumbing is locally owned and backed by more than a decade of plumbing experience.
Simply Plumbing serves Murfreesboro, Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Nashville, and Columbia. Call or text (931) 993-2525 or request a walkthrough online.
